    Default Moisture meter recommendations

I noticed on Sapherion's posting on blackwood boards that he uses a Dr. Meter MD918 moisture meter. I have had it in the back of my mind for a while because let's be honest, there is no such thing as too many toys... sorry tools.
A bit of googling seems to show that they can be got for around the $120 mark whilst there are eBay ones for $80ish for MD918's but no mention of Dr. Meter. I am not looking for the Festool of meters, just one that will do a satisfactory job for a reasonable price. At the end of the day it will not die from overuse.
    Any thoughts?
    Thanks
