    Default Multiple Timber ID's needed

Hi forum goers. I picked up some timber today. Multiple loads of brilliant tassie blackwood with some celery top pine and few other bits and bobs including what I think is Gidgee, 400x400 fiddleback redgum and a few others. Below are a few images of some I am unsure on. Any suggestions would be great.
20171224_102324.jpg20171224_102321.jpg Some sort of Oregon maybe? Sorry the images are not great. Smelt like Oregon. Not too heavy for its size. Pronounced growth rings.

20171224_130703.jpg20171224_130700.jpgVery light timber with flaky bark. Some sort of pine?

20171224_130616.jpg20171224_130600.jpgSome sort of Ebony? This small log is extremely dense and heavy.

Pic 1 looks like douglas fir although it could be dawn cedar.
pic 2 looks like bunya pine although it could be Norfolk island pine. Bark doesn't look quite right for holly.
pic 3 looks like a acacia of some sort. could be a golden robinia by the bark

The conifer one looks like Cedrus Deodara to me and the next one looks like Mulga.

It can help if you provide your location. Where are you or from where did you collect the timber? Can you plane a bit of the first one to expose the grain?

    1. ? That spicy Douglas Fir smell is pretty distinctive - if your nose says Oregon its probably Oregon.
    2. Norfolk Pine
    3. Lancewood by the bark but could be any one of about 50 inland accacias. Member TTIT knows his way through them better then most.

Positive that this is Flinders Rangers pine, light weight, fragrant and splits like you wouldn’t believe. Beautiful timber if you are careful with how it’s dried. Sapwood straight under the bark has a real sheen to it.

Perhaps I'm wrong, but I took these photos as going with the text "some sort of ebony, extremely dense and heavy"

As most of us have been, i've been swamped over the Chrissy period. Cut a few pieces off of the timber Dai sensei quoted above (what I somehow thought could an an ebony species due to its initial weight. Cut easy on the bandsaw and has a nice fragrant, flowery rose smell. Haven't had a chance to do much else. Just took ownership of 3 pallets of blackwood and 1 pallet of celery top and a drum sander has kept me busy. Thanks again all for the input.

I'm even more certain of my previous post, Flinders Rangers pine [emoji106]
Just don't leave it in a hot shed!
