I noticed one of the boards I purchased in Maleny standing in the rack. IIR I will get some photos of it tomorrow. It's not as highly figured as yours and the other I purchased at the same time (now used).

Looks like very numerous tiny pores, which happens only in some of the endless Eucalyptus species.
If you wished to dig further you should sand to 1500-grit or higher and you should measure the density; not sure it is worth the effort because there are so many species in your country that I guess pinpointing one is almost impossible
