What is my Oregon worth?
I have 7 plinths of Oregon timber that are 300mm x 300mm x 3M long. Can anyone give me an approximate value for timber like this, and maybe some advice on who might be interested in buying it. I'm in Brisbane.

It's old stuff, I don't think it's plantation but I don't know for sure... They've been sitting under my house for years. I'll take some pictures and post them tonight.

Does this look useful to anyone? They were under the house when I bought the place and I have no idea where it all came from. It seems a shame that it's not being put to good use.

Look to me as they have the pith ( very centre) of the tree. As such they are not much use for Furiture but as posts they are fine
you should build a new veranda!
As for price you could get < 1000 per cubic metre....
New with out the pith it'd be about $90 metre or so

Thanks Lumber Bunker, you're right, I should build something with it, it's just too bulky for any of my tools. I even thought of dragging it out into the garden and building a raised bed with it or something, but that would just be a magnet for white-ants.
I think I'll get in touch with a couple of saw-mills and see if anyone can use it.
