OSB Plywood - price seems ok now. Good or Bad?
OSB SHEETING - 2440 x 1220 | Building Materials | Gumtree Australia Whittlesea Area - Epping | 1239262251
I do remember the only reason I wasn't using it was that it was ridiculously expensive.
Compared to my usual ply.
I also remember it being really bad for bare hands.
Any thoughts?
Thanks in advanceThanks,
Barry G. Sumpter

Sorry to disappoint, but OSB, while a sheet product, is definitely not a plywood. Its basically a compressed random layup of adhesive and larger slivers of otherwise waste wood, not a layup of timber veneers with grains perpendicular to those on adjoining layers.
I used to be an engineer, I'm not an engineer any more, but on the really good days I can remember when I was.
