Looking around on the web it's usually some form of hard to work mahogany that looks very much like jarrah. Sometime the list of properties quoted are identical to those quoted for jarrah (ie very unlikely) and sometimes they are very different to jarrah. Whenever someone feels the need to make up properties to look like something else, this always strikes me as dodgy.
