River Red Gum, WA
Good Evening Ladies and Gentlemen
I have just received these photos from Derek Doak (The Timber Bloke), I believe he sends them to make me jealous. Yep, it worked.
The slabs are Log salvaged from a demolition yard just before it went into the chipper. He has five slabs from this log plus some boards. Air dried for 15 months then through the kiln.
Cheers
Willy

And you couldn't stand to be jealous all on your own so you just had to drag us in as well. Thanks for that

Tell him to ship them over to me and I will dispose of the offending material via the wood lathe
