Lignum vitae
If is probably Premna lignum vitae. Just look it up in any standare rainforest trees or timber book for a description of the wood. A common book is "Rainforest Trees of Mainland SE Australia" by A.G. Floyd. It is a hard and dense pale coloured timgber which was even once used for fence posts. I have cut a few but they are very slow growing and hard to come by. Bob
