Does Peppercorn tree make good firewood?
The title says it all, I can get heaps for nothing. Opinions please.

doesn't burn very hot, but free is free.
Not a real stable timber but I reckon you could make some nice things with it.

I have had some lying in my "I'll do something with that someday pile" for a while now. Decided to turn some today to see how it looks. I can tell you I won't be burning any of mine. Will post photo when camera batteries are charged.

FWIW, I had to drop one for my brother in law quite a while ago, it was a live tree (plenty of sap), and as I was cutting it with the chain saw, I got a bit of sap on my lips. My lips were quite numb for a couple of hours after.
