Default Pine, tassie oak or something else

Hi ...just wondering if anyone can help me identify the timber this box is made from (Berryman Furniture). I'm new to this stuff. I thought it was pine but someone suggested it may be tassie oak Can anyone tell? ...or guess? As you can see the grain is fairly straight and open.

Looks more like Tassie Oak than pine to me too. Are you sure its an Australian timber? Could even be something like Durian:

No, not sure it's Australian. Although Berryman Furniture was an Australian company (can't find much info on them) I've enhanced the contrast in the closeup picture to show the grain but the colour is actually much blonder. The grain is also quite variable...a bit stripey ... Here's another pic

It would be Tas Oak. They were a customer of ours.

I also would go with Tassie Oak.
