PNG timber
Does anyone know of a good source for information on Papua New Guinea timber? I'm living in Port Moresby for a couple of years and am very keen to try out some of the timber here for woodturning and other woodwork.

I don't know about elsewhere, but PNG Rosewood is used extensivly in our local cabinetmaking industry. Its cheap and looks good, and is also different from the cheap aussie alternatives which some consumers are after. Polish's great too.
Cheers.
