    Default pre-finished hardwood veneer plywood

    G'day,

    Has anyone seen a product like this http://www.columbiaforestproducts.co...s.aspx/Europly
    available in Australia?

    The key features I am looking for are:
    - hardwood veneer (maple or walnut very attractive) prefinished with UV cured polyurethane
    - attractive cut edges that don't require edge-banding, only sealing
    - 1200 x 2400 x 18mm
    - attractive price relative to veneers (reconstituted or otherwise) here.

    The Europly is available retail in USA for around USD 150 per sheet. High price for plywood I know but it is also high quality and pre-finished. I would be very interested in a comparable product at comparable price in Australia.

    Alternatively, if I brought in a container load of the europly, would anyone else be interested in some?

    All comments welcome.

    Thanks Tea Lady, yes I have been down that road but at $330+ per sheet (and that doesn't including substrate or mounting on substrate) makes it an expensive alternative. Also, I would then only have a one-sided veneer. The Europly is veneered and pre-finished both sides.
