1 cubic meter = 423.78 super foot thus $8.50 * 423.78 = $3602 per cube. . . hth.

It is worth what ever you are prepared to pay. You need to inspect and make your own decision on this.
Things to consider:
- Has all the heart shake been cut out?
- How many boards are predominated white, I can see some in the photos.
- This is listed as standard grade.
- Degradation will occur in the drying process.
IST's December 2008 pricelist shows dry select grade BHS 150 x 25mm at $20.35 lm.Last edited by KevM; 4th November 2009 at 08:30 PM. Reason: remove smiley face amazing what a :- does

Fletchy, have a good look at the pack or have someone local look it over before tendering, as to how green it is, and figures etc take a moisture metre , u will also notice the rain on it...and quite a few clear boards, non black..so its worth as KevM says whatever u r willing to fork for it...u will probably get a better deal than buying dry sassy timber by the foot, i'd say tender somewhere between 300-500 depending on transport costs and if ya didnt get it well as least ya didnt pay too much...;-)
its generally not worth anything stable as in most sellers especially IST will sell it for the highest amount they can get, i suspect that pack is stuff that didnt sell or wasnt the best log when cut, which is why is for sale to the bidder, which is often the best way to get a good deal from IST...so good luck..."I am brother to dragons, companion to owls"

Thankyou very much for your input into my question.
I will go and inspect the timber.
If I think that it is a good deal and the timber has nice figure, I will put in a tender of 500 because for me the transport costs are only fuel for the car.
