Tasman I dont think for 1 minute the price is expensive and even the freight would not kill it as it is an extremely nice piece of wood ignore us poor plebs. You will get ur price ...which I feel is way too low for such a find ....up the price and buyers will fight over the right to purchase

David, u could post paper wings on it and pedals and pretend its a plane...

in reality i have spoken with Tasman and freight tho a legitimate cost is not to bad, especially with some disocunts form the tassie government, compared with the produced value of the wood...

Good idea. I had a talk with Tasman and we are going to put wings on it and see if we can borrow the jet engine from gatiep.
Then we will send it from Tassi to Canberra, where I can get the pleasure of finding out what is inside those burls.
    Thanks
    Dave..

The price is too cheap Jim.That is going to be a very special piece of timber. Keep it for me if nobody else jumps on it and I'll pick it up when I am next down there, about march. (p.s. the myrtle burl log I bought from you was/is magnificent, now I just have to wait for the pieces to dry and this looks like the wettest summer ever.)
