Rare and Unusual Timbers: Arytera distylis.
I cut a small tree of this yesterday and again I’m wondering if anyone is interested? It is described in “Rainforest Trees” by Floyd as being hard and very tough. This seems to be the case and I can also add heavy. Maybe similar to Native Olive I mentioned above with a similar grey colour. Also know as Twin Leaved Coogera. When I saw up something and can work how to do it, I will post some photos.

Bob, I'm sure Vern (TTIT) would like a piece for his collection of wood, over 500 now. John.

The tree I am not really very familiar with as it is not common here. The wood though seem very heavy and close grained.
