The id of my aux oiler would only be 5 or 6mm and that does a 5' bar so I reckon the 4mm fittings that you thinking of using should be right

Cool. Just because I can, I am putting 2 lines to make sure.

martrix, Are you putting a cut into your bar to help the oil penetrate?

DJS, do you have a cut in yours?

Yep, I put two little nicks in the bar per DJ's recommendation. I just used my Dremel with a mini cut-off disc in it.

Have now finished it with the two lines and on/off taps as well as an on/off tap on the lid for a breather hole. Quick little test suggests it works brilliantly. 20 minutes work and about $7 for the bits.

Cappuccino time now, then I'm gonna rip into some redgum.

    Pics tonight.

Bob, mine has been done with a 3mm thick cutoff disc on an angle grinder.

Have a look at this picture that I put up in one of Martrix threads

OK - saw that picture when it was posted, should have remembered.

Just got lumbered with a heap of work to take home so no more shed play for a few days. Bummer!

    Cheers
