Best place for recycled timber in Adelaide?
I'm new to this whole game, but are in the processes of dreaming about building a pole house, and would absolutely love to be able to get some recycled hardwood (of course Jarrah would be wonderful) for the floor of the main living area, but want to be socially responsible, so would like recycled timber.
Any ideas where the best place in Adelaide is to source recycled timber from??
Thanks for your help!

Recycled south of Adelaide
There is a very interesting shop at Yankallila. It is in an old dairy and the place is full of recycled timber. Its easy to find. As you drive down the hill and into the town take the first left and head towards Victor. The shop is on the left about 300 metres down the road. It is run by a very nice lady but she only opens on Thursdays and fridays. She has her mobile number on the door and a note saying she is usually not far away. I have bought some jarrah there at prices far lower than Adelaide. A friend is having a new kitchen built out of recycled baltic pine which has all been sourced from there. The timber is all under cover and in good nick. Good luck.

You could have a look at Adelaide Rural Salvage on Hanson Rd. in Wingfield. They stock bucket loads of Jarrah, Tas. Oak, Baltic Pine, etc.
Reasonable pricesIt's better to be thought of as a fool than to speak up and remove all doubt!

Damn, now if only I had space right now to start storing wood with potential!
