Red Bloodwood Timber offcuts request please
G’Day all,
I’m hoping some can help me with some Red Bloodwood Timber offcuts please!
I want to use it as tail lights & stop lights on the toys I make.
Just a little extra detailing to make it interesting for both me and the child playing with the toys.
Thank you in advanced , cheers Crowie.

I do have some, however I thought someone closer would be able to supply.
I'm happy to provide some, but it's obviously going to be a bit more postage wise, let me know how you go.

I’ve got some bits and pieces of various species that you would call red, I don’t think I have any actual Bloodwood cut up though. There is a big old one on its side at the top of my property, but it would mean a bit of a climb carrying a chainsaw .
How much do you need ?Brad.

Thank you Feckit and Ironwood, Not a lot at all as a start thank you gents,
The minimum I'm hoping to source is a piece 200x100x10mm so I can use the plug cutter to make the taillights or stoplights for the toys/models.
More would be great if easily available.
More than happy to pay postage.
Cheers, crowie

If you want to pay for a 3kg satchel, I’ll fill it with some nice reds. Could get it in the mail on Monday or Tuesday.
As long as you are not fussy on the species. I can probably scrounge some Mackay Cedar, Red Cedar , maybe Mahogany, Red Stringybark, Red Lancewood, maybe others.Brad.

Australia Post have changed the regs now (to our slight advantage). You can put up to 5Kg in any of the satchels as long as the goods fit. So:
I have attached a screen shot from Aussie Post which will initially show as a thumb nail but I can change that later.

Paul
PS. I could help with Forest Red Gum, but it sounds as though Brad has it covered and a better selection.Bushmiller;

I have got a few bits ready for you. It is surprising how much brown those red timbers have in them when you really want red.
I am going to throw the 056 in the back of the ute in the morning and get as close to that old downed Bloodwood as I can, will lop off a branch and see how red it is.Brad.

The edit facility had already disappeared from my post of yesterday so here goes again:
