Greg...what sort of rosewood is up for grabs?

Mal has around 100-150 cube of red cedar and rosewood in stock, and drops to customers in Sydney/newcastle every 6 weeks or so.
This trip he has a cube of dark red cedar for one customer, plus a lot of slabs for other accounts however will have room on the next trip end July.
Sizes are as you wish, as he has inch boards plus a range of 40, 50mm thick timber, lengths generally cut at 3 metres. Widths vary, but you order and he will select.
Prices for cedar range from $2000-3000 cube depening on timber quality. At Christmas, he processed around 20 cube from Glouster, dark slow growing highly figured, but he has lighter cedar from Dorrigo that was faster growing, and is cheaper. It depends on what you want.
With rosewood, he does have some New Guinea rosewood, but I am referring to Australian rosewood, where he has a huge amount cut from 30 year old dead trees collected from Killarney near Qld border and Dorrigo.
Probably around 30 cube of logs left to process, so if you want any special sizes, or thicknesses, this can be arranged.
I am based in Sydney, and have some samples of the timber if you would like to see them.
Regarding SA. Mal will be showing at the Melbourne www show, however, he uses Border express to ship packs of timber all around Australia. You can call him after 7.00 pm to discuss on 0265 858296, or let me know what you want, and I will have him call you with prices etc.
He also has a large range of Red river gum jarrah, makay cedar, camphor, etc. etc.

Don't know when Brisbane will be on a run. He has the Newcastle wood show then Agquip next month. Melbourne in October, he'll try to fit in a run. I'll let you know.

What's the price range for the rosewood and the NG rosewood?

sampson13, price depends on quantity, around $7.00/super foot, or from 2500-3000/cube. He has available blocks, inch boards, and plenty of slabs. the roswood doesn't have sapwood, so the price is for the truewood from old trees.
NG rosewood. I don't know, best is to either let me have your number and I'll have him call, or else call him on 0265 858296 after 7.00 pm.

Is Mal coming to Canberra for the September WWW Show? I am after some 6m lengths of lovely dark red cedar.

Yep. Mal will be exhibiting at Canberra.
Regarding 6 metre lengths, I know he has some 5 + long metre slabs, but I am not sure about the 6 metre size. Best to call him on 0265 858296 after 7.00 and discuss. The cedar I have seen is long lengths is dark slow growing Gloucester stuff.
I know also that he will be getting some logs this weekened, so if you have some special sizs requirements, he may be able to cut these to suit your demand. Best to call this week before he collects the logs, so he can cut to the length you want.

I require a smallish quantity of red cedar to make a roll top desk,only need 25mm thick,maximun length 1.5m. Could Mal quote a price per s/f or m3.
I come from Geelong ,but could be in Canberra for the wood show if available and the price is ok.

Mal will bring red cedar to Canberra, there are 3 types and price. Wider, darker is more expensive. Price will be from $1500/cube to $3000/cube. For what you want, around $2000/cube, or $5-6/super foot. Let me know the widths, and I will ensure he has a quantitiy you want. He will be at the Melbourne wood show in October, so it may be better for you to wait until then?
