Cedar prices vary depending on quality. If the tree has been growing out in the open there is every chance it has been attacked by tip moth. This is not to say it is worthless, there would still be usable timber in a tree that size.
To sell as a log, you could expect between $500-$600 per m3.

The value of the log is nothing compared to the facility of having a red cedar next to the house. even the cost of re-doing a bit of sewerage pipe should be only a couple of hundred dollars compared to having shade in summer, sunlight in the winter, spectacular red tips in spring, birds all year around, ring-tails in the evening... We have one over our back deck and it is a joy all year round.

That tree has the potential of producing some very nice flame grain. If possible, it would be nice to dig it out rather than hack it off at ground level as there would be quite a bit of good timber below ground.

I touched up your photo to make it a bit clearer, with all those branches, should have some really nice grain

Dont worry about the roots, its the timber in the trunk below ground level you are after. The roots and the branches create wonderful grain pattern in the main trunk were they attach. As for drying, the log will require sawing into slabs or boards and then stickered out for drying. the importance of careful stickering can not be stressed enough. If not done properly, the whole lot can be ruined. That log needs a smart sawyer and careful handling during drying to live up to its full potential.
