Sawmills affected by 2009 VIC bushfires
Hi everyone,
I wasn't sure where to post this, so I apologise in advance if you see this pop up in a few different threads.
My name is Sally and I'm a journalism student from Monash University. I'm writing a story about the effects that the 2009 bushfires had, and are continuing to have, on the Victorian timber industry. I've come to the Woodwork Forums because I'm interested in speaking to a few sawmill operators about their experiences of the event and how it has impacted on their operations.
I have attempted to contact HVP Plantations and the CMFEU Forestry and Furnishing Products Division, and will keep trying, but have so far not been able to get across to anybody who could help.
If you or somebody you know would be interested in sharing their story, please reply or send me an email at [email protected] .
Hope to hear from somebody soon, thanks and regards.
