I received this e-mail letting me know of some Silky Oak available trouble is got to travel halfway to QLD to get it.

Hi,

I have some Silky Oak that is suitable for wood turning. There are:

8 x branch forks ranging from 0.8m to 1.3m in circumference and approx. 0.5m tall. I have
been told they would be good for making bowls.

1 x 1m circumference x 1.35m straight trunk or branch length

1 x 1m circumference x 1m straight trunk or branch length

They have been outside for a couple of months but their cut ends have been sealed with
paint.
