What happened to your glove?
Glove? What Glove?
I wear leather gauntlets with a CS. I have slipped with my left hand & touched the bar, tore tip out of one glove finger.
Mental note to self: Hold on with both hands.Cliff.

As a general rule I've given up bulk ripping on the band saw.
I find the blade dulls too quickly and...... ...... I'm happier with the table saw for thinner stock up to 90mm.
AND i tend to use push sticks on the band saw too.
The band saw might not be eas angry and agressive as the table saw but I recon it has a better chance of cutting a hand off
cheersAny thing with sharp teeth eats meat.
Most powertools have sharp teeth.
People are made of meat.
Abrasives can be just as dangerous as a blade.....and 10 times more painfull.
