I was at Carbatec in Balcatta today, and I'm pretty sure I saw some there.
Whether this is the best place to get it though, I wouldn't know.

When I did a course at the School of Wood we had a tour around the sawmill at Jarrahdale and sourced a load of Sheaok we needed for the class hall table project. The details are

87 Millars Rd, Jarrahdale, WA 6124 - (08) 9526 0051
I have also sourced Sheaok from Austim in Gnangara, however last time I was there about a month ago they did not have much on the rack, so it would be best to ring them.
Another place to try is the Timber Bloke, I have never bought from here but have heard he has good stuff

The Harvey FPC mill has had sheoak slabs before at one of their auctions, run by Ross's. Can't find any info on the FPC website on 2009 auctions and if you're on any sort of deadline I'd steer clear - it's mainly green timber with a looooong drying time.

Without question, the best supply of sheoak I've seen has been at Austim in Gnangara, WA.

I picked up an awesome amount of sheoak at FPC auction at Harvey about 18months ago. It was a craft pack at $500. 2, 3m lengths of 125mm* 125mm, 3, 2.5m lengths of 100mm*100mm and heaps of 125mm*40mm, 100mm*40mm, 75mm*40mm boards of between 2m and 3m in length. I was battling to get it all home to Perth in my Hilux. Sure it was green, I waxed the ends and waited 12 months before attacking it. Id love to know what it would be worth to buy from Carbatec.
I think the next Auction is in March 2009. Check Ross Auction website.

suggestion - ring CALM and find out where they may out source any Sheoak log to mills.

There are many different species commonly known as she oak, I love the grain and colour of it, but they are all far from easy to work with. Some of them crack very badly, and when they dry out can become hard as rock. If you do decide to make a setting out of it, please post some pictures on here when it's done!
