    Default Silver Birch

    I went and picked up a silver birch log today.

    Two logs:

    1. 45cm tapering to 30cm over 2.5m.
    2. 30cm tapering to 25cm over 3m.

    I've also got a few more smaller bits and pieces from the top of the tree and branches.

    I won't be using it all myself so if any ones got any ideas let me know especially for the small stuff which will most likely be used for fire wood unless some one wants it.

    Hi Weaver.
    Wondering if you still have the smaller pieces or if they have already been used as firewood? need one piece in paricular at about 150mm in diameter and 1600 in length. smaller pieces at about 30mm would be handy as well.

    150mm in diameter is possible but 1600mm may be tricky.

    I've just come in from the rain so I'll check tomorrow.

    What is your plan for them?

    as close as possible to 1600 would be fine. a friend of mine would like a coat rack out of silver birch. now i've just given away my idea Thank you
