Default Give away turning sized chunks

Dear all, I will be moving soon and only taking selected and useful pieces from my stash with me do to space contraints (?!)

Hence. I am giving away the rest, which includes various chunks of Silky Oak, Camphor, black wattle, red cedar, bluegum and other eucalypts plus a few other species. If i cant give them away they will get left or burnt. Most of it is rough chunks but it could be useful for turning or box making etc.

I also have some nice chunks of Rose Sheok, Qld Blackwood and other quality timbers to swap or trade ( I didnt mention old growth rosewood ;-). I am mainly interested in aquiring any desert timbers such as Mulga, Gidgee, Beefwood etc, burls or other smaller pieces of figured timber.

It's pretty much pickup only as I dont want to incur postage costs so if anyone wants to drop past the highly tree covered mountaintop of Ravensbourne near Toowoomba then please feel free to do so. It's a nice day trip 90 minutes from Brisbane

    PM me for details.

Good on ya for making the offer! Unfortunately want and can just aren't seeing eye to eye for me.

    [sigh]
I may be weird, but I'm saving up to become eccentric.

The rosewood, what sort of dimensions and what do you want for it - I have nothing to trade.

Tried to email but it bounced back. Are your details correct or did I stuff it up. Slightly technology challenged

probably wont be moving until house gets sold, a few months, Ray came round today and picked up a ute load, theres still a fair bit left

the rosewood i have is is squarish chunks, a foot or 2 each, am keeping as much of it as I can ( i have been using it for my turning works) but if someone shows up and grabs the other stuff i can pass on a few bits, if someone shows up with a 4wd ute (mines busted) we can drop down the local forest and pick up the 200 kg or so of 4 ft long trunk sections (about 10) i cut a while back and havent got around to collecting yet, its all been cut for turning so nothing board length, its an old log , a bit splitty but not too bad..theres a few logs of the whiter rosewood same smell slightly different tree. I dont wanna sell it as I was lucky to be able to find it in the forest so no $$ i would feel guilty just trade for the good stuff and i am happy to give away other stuff that may be useful..
