The SP Story
Some of you might already know about SP graded timber, it was dropped recently before it even made the cut, basically the idea of SP was the lower grades of timber that didnt make F4, P10 etc grade where trying to push it to a new grade called SP (Structural Pine), in laymens terms, they tried to make a grade of timber that was worse than F4 or P10 and call it SP, they put millions into the project but couldn't make it work. bad luck fellas

The lowest grade (besides ungraded crap) I've seen sold is F5 and I try to avoid it as it is. I can't begin to imagine how bowed and twisted F4 must be, let alone a supposedly graded timber that's even lower than this again.

Whats an F4 grading? ........
only just strong enough to burn straight
Just strong enough to hold its own weight when stacked to burn
What sort of structure do you build out of that?
Isn't F4 what playing cards are graded at?
