    Default Spanish Cedar Veneer

Does anyone know where I can get hold of a couple of A4 size sheets of spanish cedar veneer for a cigar box.
I tried Trend but they dont answer emails (3). (perhaps they think we are a foreign country!)

    Many thanks
    Alf

Oops I lost the first reply so you may get 2!
Spanish Cedar is the wood used in the manufacture of cigar humidor's. It has properties that do not polute the cigars....its ok for cigars to polute the air!
It is not from Spain, I believe most of it comes from South America.
    Cheers

www.woodcentre.com.au - Peter has some I think 1/4" thick and around 10-12" wide, saw it there a couple weeks ago.

Not veneer I know, but he may also have that - he's got more stock of veneers than I've ever seen in one place

Yes they dont answer emails but they do have several M3 of Spanish Cedar in 2, 3, 4 inch thickness. If you have a bandsaw buy a short length and resaw yourself.
I think the going rate is about $2950 per M3
