    Default Species ID

    Hi all,
I have just been offered a couple of logs of an unidentified species, believed to be a native. It is described as being very dark brown, with prominent light bands and a reddish sapwood. I don't have the logs yet, but will post pics when do. Any ideas?
    Cheers,
    Craig

OK... after god made the tree.... where did he plant it?

This could be a slow process to identify this faq'n tree.
