Spotted Gum log available . Maybe?
Hey all,
My local Shire Council is removing two magnificient Spotted Gums from in front of the Shire Hall. They are damaging the building.
These trees are approximately 25 meters tall. The larger of the two has a lovely straight trunk with no branches for the first 6 meters (approx).
The butt is approx 750 dia and the top of the straight section I'm guessing at about 600 dia.
This tree will be cut down in bits and thrown in the tip. I will attempt to negotiate the trunk cut in one or two lengths if someone would like to take them.
I can't promise anything but thought it would be worthwhile mentioning it just in case.
I'd love to have the timber but haven't got anywhere to put it or process it.
Let me know if you are interested. First in first serve if I can arrange it.
