Spotted Gum logs wanted in Brissy
Hey there everybody,
I'm looking to mill up some spotty for my folkes to do some work on their place and am looking for some spotty logs in Brissy. I have Ironbark up here at home, but it's a bit too hard for what I want to use, and also can move the mill easier than the logs - so was looking to get logs a bit closer to where it will be used.
If ya see some or have a problem re-homing some, can you drop me a mail or PM.
Any help would be great thanks guysI love my Lucas!! ...just ask me!
Allan.

I have some spotted gum logs
But they ar mine you hear, mine, mine, mine (insert craised dafy duck graphic). These are a bit punny but others do come by.
What I am interested in is your mill. Does it like travel & would it like to come for a short visit at times.
cheersAny thing with sharp teeth eats meat.
Most powertools have sharp teeth.
People are made of meat.
Abrasives can be just as dangerous as a blade.....and 10 times more painfull.

Soundman,
Larry likes to travel, in fact just the other day he was upset as we only had a 20 minute drive to go to work. When you say small spotty, what are we talking - size is always a matter of opinion
PM me if ya need.

Spoty is about 18" at the base.
I've done some of him free hand.
But I have some ironbark I have to "get out" and there are always bits that have to come down or fall over & come too stay.
What sort of mill is it.Any thing with sharp teeth eats meat.

Soundman - FREEHAND  geese that sounds like an interesting afternoon!!!
Ironbark - love it
Bit's that come to stay, sounds too much like me - Wifey is either getting used to it or I am getting them cut much earlier than previous
Lucas with slabbing attachment - take a browse through www.reallmilling.com if you have the time
How many logs you got stashed Soundman? could be quite a party, I've got about 11 cubes of Ironbark (in Bris-Vegas) just waiting to sacrifice itself under LarryI love my Lucas!! ...just ask me!

I've only got fiddles & diddles accessable at the moment buy If I know I can process the stuff in reasonable time & economicaly it changes my view of big lumps of wood.
