Bloody found it!
Well, well, well. Didn't expect this but we found our timber!! Turns out that it was a bit of an inside job (not the guy we bought it off but one of his ninjas he calls 'em). They hand loaded 2 x 40ft containers till they were airtight and were about to ship it off to NZ!! Freakin keen!
Anyway, still waiting for the wash-up but feeling pretty darn good.
Thanks to everyone who showed their concern over the matter - really appreciated the feedback and, well, really, just the vibe. Such a caring community we have on this site - proud to be a part of it! Any of you guys want some cheap, quality timber, just ask.
Cheers all,
Craig.

Looks like Scribbly Gum was on the money .
I do not get surprised anymore . Just discovered where my electric chainsaw and the Fein sander went. Thought I'd put 'em somewhere .
Turns out the 18 YO step son has a drug habit and has been using the garage as his bank roll .
nearly 60 years of acquiring tools and equipment some of it my recently departed Dad only to find this p%$&# stealing it to swap to some drug peddler.
God give me strength or my next post might be at the governors discretion .Perhaps it is better to be irresponsible and right, than to be responsible and wrong.

Lots of ears to the ground, and looks like someone heard something apart from the dirt. It's all still sitting on the docks in Sydney so don't know when we will see it. Luckily we already received a couple of semi loads before they grabbed it all.
Thanks for the interest.
Cheers.

Good news Craig. I should think a suitable punishment (at the very least a stress relief for you) would be to string the miscreants up by the toes and you get to thump them once with each and every bit of timber they took.

Glad to hear your timber has been found and all is nearing a resolution.
.
I know you believe you understand what you think I wrote, but I'm not sure you realize that what you just read is not what I meant.
Regards, Woodwould.

Good news. Lets hope they don't want it all as exhibits in the court case.
Cheers,

A good laugh
Ah, you guys crack me up. I'd look like Arnie Swarzenegger by the time I beat them with every stick! Yep, it sounds like 'ol SG has been around the traps a few times - good call. Although the guy we are dealing with says it wasn't anything to do with him directly, it is quite a coincidence that it was heading back to his home land. Ah it's a ^$#%$#@ed up world, lucky there's still a bit of good wood in it though.
Cheers guys,
Go Saints !!(again)
