Default Strange Tree Identification (Poinciana ?)

    Hello All

I've been doing some work at a place that has a tonne of trees that I am not familiar with and was hoping I may find some assistance here. I've got quite a few to post, but I'll do that 1 thread at a time.

The leaf on this one looks, from ground level, to be Poinciana albeit with a bole that looks like a palm tree of some kind, it's about 10m tall. Is this just some kind of bizarre Poinciana or something else?

Thanks in advance for any maybes, could bes' or iss'.

Looks a little like a Neem tree.

Not a Neem, leaves are wrong

Could be yellow or red Poinciana, even Jacaranda have similar leaves. Guess you'll have to wait for the flowers

Definitely not a poincianna due to the rather unusual branch union to the trunk which appears to be self shedding (

That's what's weird as well as the stunted canopy. At this stage I'm going with the Poinciana leafed Palm Trunk Tree Fern tree.

    Mexican Fern tree
Bingo, nice one MM. Looks for all money to be the culprit. Not too long before it's due to flower for absolute confirmation.
