    WHY is it so difficult to come by??
    I have done the usual google searches for suppliers in and around Melbourne.
    Does anyone have a source for dried timber.
    I would like to use it in the construction of my bench - sub frame and apron.

    Can't help with dry timber at this stage. Have two logs in the yard waiting to be milled.

    But in saying that, Sugar Gum to my knowledge, isn't native to Victoria, which would explain your difficulties in sourcing it.
