I once bought some 'SUPA 17" hardwood which is stamped with lyctid resistant and I want to know if its treated or untreated.

I've been told that SUPA 17 was a trademark and that the mills that did it no longer do it and now you can only get regular F17 timber. I also read somewhere that Vic ash is naturally lyctid resistant but tassie oak isnt which I found surprising unless trees here have naturally evolved to be resistant even if they are the same species

Anyway, anyone know if they are treated? It looks like regular timber but does smell 'acidic' or a bit like vinegar but I dont know if thats just how vic ash smells
