Suppliers of timber in S/E Melbourne, VIC.
Hi all,
I'm just about to start trying make make some basic items for around the house (coffee table, small bookcase, etc).
Can someone please recommend timber suppliers based around S/E Melbourne (near Dandenong to be exact). If you could indicate staff helpfulness, price, range, stock levels, etc that would be a great help.

Britton timbers are in your area. But they sell Furniture grade stock. i just bought some New Guinea rosewood today (tues) and pick it up 2morrow.

I use Mathews Timber in Rooks Rd Vermont. Great quality, helpful staff and pricing is as you would expect for the quality. I can highly recommend them.
