tagatossi tree
hi every one, i am looking for some help. about 12 yrs ago an old friend of mine who lived in toowoomba was giving some broken off branches only small ones that still had the leaves on only sml pointed leaves along the branches. he was giving it to his race pigeons and they went berserk over this stuff and he called it a taggatossi tree. this is my spelling not his, can not ask him as passed away now and have googled it no luck, it is probaly a common name but not the right scientific one. i would appreciate any help i can get i was at a standstill and frustrated when the minister of war and finance said go on your wood site thingey, god i love her. so if it known off somebody on here would be able to help i am sorry for the vague desription but i do not even have a photo to help you with. regards peter flack

I presume, when you say he gave it to the birds, it was as a food? If so you probably mean Tagasaste, also known as Tree Lucerne. Popular as a browse plant for a wide range of livestock. Can be purchased as seedlings or as seed.
