    Default Tassie musk burl

I've got a bunch of blocks which I was going to use for box lids but I've almost retired and they need to go to a new home. Does anyone have any idea of prices I should be looking to sell?

Anywhere from $5 to a couple of thousand for a full wheelbarrow load, depending on the quality.
Some pics would help someone to give a more accurate estimate, I guess.
I have only ever had a couple of pen blanks of the stuff, think I paid about $6 each.

So I've put all I have up for sale based on a price half of what a Woodie friend said it was selling at and added postage. I wish I could remember what I bought it for.

I was looking at a comparison of your pricing when Auscab beat me to the "I'll take it" post. Very nice looking bundle too btw.

I was looking at some bits/mini slabs online wanting over $100K per m3. Friend said $45K per m and even then I thought he was dreaming. Thanks for your interest Mobyturns. I still find it hard to value timber, especially such small bits that I have no idea what woodies would do with, well no idea what I would do with. I did make some box lids out of some other bigger stuff and it did look pretty.

Small HQ burl lots fetch a high premium, particularly if ready to use and well cared for.

Without pics tis impossible to say. like selling a 1972 Monaro without pics -could be a rust bucket - could be a show car?
