    Default Thicknesser/Wood Shop Hire Perth

    Hello,

I have some nice old seasoned Jarrah timber (180 x 50 x about 6m length) that I would like to use to make a pergola in my back yard. My wife doesn't like the black weathered look so I am wondering if anyone can recommend a place in Perth where I could either hire a thicknesser or hire some workshop time and do it myself.

If all else fails then I would take some suggestions on where to take the wood to have the work done by someone else.

    Thanks very much in advance.

    Hi there,
I have one possible solution for you. In Fremantle there is a communal workshop called fremanshed. You can become a member and do your work there.
    Here's the link.

If I still lived there I'd be at that place every day !
    Good luck with your project.
