Another what is it thread
I am going to be renovating within the next few months, and one of the jobs will be removing a couple of rooms worth of wood paneling.
I would be interested to know what species it is, and if there is any demand for it.
I believe it is approx 10mm x 120mm (but I'm not certain).

Be careful how you remove it so you don't ruin it.

Definately Western Red Cedar. There is still a demand for it, but I know a few people (including me) are starting to shy away from it because of the problems the dust can cause when woprking with it.

Thanks for the replies so far.
It seems that some of the panels in one of the bathrooms has a different grain, I'm guessing this is sonme lesser species

It looks like quarter sawn WRC to me. Probably a good idea in a humid environment - more stable. Same species though.
