Thread: What timber is this?

Probably a long shot as you haven’t got the piece of timber in hand, but I’m hoping someone can identify this for me.
The timber is very light in weight and machines beautifully. I got the timber from some furniture they were throwing out at a Lifeline store.
I’m thinking a light coloured cedar but normally cedar dust effects me and so far this timber hasn’t but then again most of the work is being done by machines with good dust extraction. I only give it a very light hand sand before finishing.

it’s a honey colour which doesn’t show up well in the photos.
