    Default Whats a stick of black ebony worth 1000x100x50

    I came across a guy that is willing to part with a stick of ebony that is approx. 1000x100x50. Looks quite sound, minimal cracks. What do you think it would be worth. Not what you're willing to pay (you may not want to pay the going rate...) but what it's worth.

    As I was driving home I was thinking about it and thought I could resurrect my router plane making and make probably 5 of them. Good exotic woods are far too difficult to find, so I shelved making them...
