    Default What timber is this deck?

    I've been offered some old decking from a friend as they are getting updating their backyard but have no idea what kind of timber it is (and if it would likely have been treated).

    Any help in identifying it would be very much appreciated!

    My guess would be Cypress,does'nt look like pine.

    Don't know what it is, but I wouldn't be walking on it, looks stuffed.

    For it to be in that condition and still in place I'd think cypress to.
    Hope you'r not going to reuse it as decking.

    TBH I wasn't sure what I would use it for, although other parts of the deck is in better condition than the ones in the photo.

    But if it's cypress there really isn't much use for it other than in the garden. Thanks for all your help!
