Timber, free to good home, Melbourne.
Timber, free to good home.
Come and get it folks, I have timber ranging from period architrave, skirting, beading, panels, etc, etc.
Timber species include kauri, hardwood, cedar, baltic, red pine.
Also used hardwood rafters and studs suitable for fences, sheds etc.
I also have some doors and period turnings.
All free to good home to forum members, so bring a trailer and load up.
Anything that isnt taken will be burnt. The burning will commence in July.
Come any weekend from 10.00 am'ish onwards, except the weekend of the 23rd June.

Asked the partner, and she is all OK, had planed to go to Kyneton, but we can make a detour, you are only 40 minutes from me. Do not have a ute, only a hatchback but will do our best.
See you on Saturday by 10 am.

I wont be there tomorrow, but the bride will be.
There are also some bevelled edged mirrors that would make great cabinet doors, all you have to do is take off the silver with some spirits of salts.
And there is some dowel too.

Hey OW, are there many lengths of skirting and archs over 2m? A mate and I make picture frames out of them and would consider parting with a slab of the good stuff, if you need the shed cleared.

Penfolds VB - little known cousin to the down market Grange.
The drive is 305km, so I'm not sure we'd visit for tea and bikkies. But the skirts and archs are getting harder to come by. I'll let you know shortly if we're gonna come down for a spin.

Thanks for the timber Al, de-nailed and trimmed it up on Monday evening. Having some bother with one board with very rusted nails breaking and I cant get them out .
Dingo, there's enough timber there to feed your termites for years, darn pity you can't get over here for the free stuff, there's more than we can handle! Mind you, I hear djstimber is looking to score bigtime .
