    It is a shame it is - all that timber, frames, windows, mirros and turnings. You look around and it just is heart breaking so much choice however you just cant take it all. All I do is pick it up and if it feels heavy / deanse for its size I take it. So far I have gotten Grey Ironbark, Merbou and Blackwood. If I had the means I would cart truck loads of it to my place for sorting. Regrettable I do not have a truck and hirring one for the day is outside my limited budget.

If you are a amatuer woodie, in and around Melbourne and your always on the lookout for a few sticks to work on later then you are crazy if you don't grab a couple of reds and head out Al's way asap. Don't come whinging back in here in a year or so because you can't find any bits of timber to work with!!!!
