Timber ID Please
Wife picked up a few logs roadside a year or so ago. I have my idea what it is but I'll leave it up to the experts
Thanks, Scott.

Yes, it's very light and great to turn. There are very light streaks of light pink throughout the timber. I'm sure it's not radiata, in fact positive, has no odour. The wife picked up roadside in the southern suburbs of Melbourne, if that helps.
And yes, the wife is very well trained, I've scored some nice pick ups roadside because of her

Looks like Himalayan Cedar; I had a tree felled over a year ago and it looks very identical; bark, color and grain. Since you've picked it up over a year ago, the aroma would've dissipated. If you sand the face a little the aroma will hit you. This species exudes a lot of resin and is sticky.
Cheers, Evan

European Ash or Common Ash, Fraxinus excelsior, we get a lot around here growing wild the the creeks.
