Solid timber for window heads these days is somewhat rare, engineered timber is the norm nowdays, it's a laminated timber product. Ask your supplier about Hyne, it's called either Hyspan or Hybeam can't remember which at the moment.

    G'day.
Lintels can be any hardwood as long as it meets AS 2082.
We use Spotted Gum, Blackbutt, Tallowood, Grey Ironbark to name a few.
Down south they use Vic Ash etc etc etc .

    Hooroo.
    Regards, Trevor
