    Default timber ID needed

We had a trunk of a rather large multitrunk tree fall at the pony club. Here's a photo of the leaves. The bark is similar to calistamon. I'm sure it's a common species, but I'm no good with live wood
Any ideas and whether the wood might be useful? The trunk diameter is approx 400-450mm, and there are numerous smaller branches.

    Cheers
    Michael

It is Melaleuca bracteata or Black or river tea tree.

Does anybody know about the quality of timber in this species?

Thanks TTIT, that's the one. Just had a look in a reference book an hour ago and confirmed it is that one. One of the few Melaeuca with a hard bark so it says.
The wood looks darker than I expected.

    Cheers
