Default Timber ID - no idea

Got some timber shelving in the garage that I'm trying to ID. See attached pictures. The end-grain is from a fresh cut. The face shot is hand sanded but I'd probably need to put it through the planer to get a clean face and I can't do that at the moment.

The end-grain shot is probably better representative of the actual colour. The saw dust is noticeably "red" when put next to pine.

    Density is 1.03 g/cc

Edit to add that I don't know how old it is or where it came from. Was here when we bought the place.

    Thanks
