    Talking Timber - North of Brissy?

    Hi there,

    I was wondering if anyone knows of a mill or timber yard that has slabs available, close to the suburb of Morayfield (Caboolture Shire)? Preferrably one that delivers but not necessary.

    South of Rocky? Hell anywhere south of Townsville is almost foreign! Hmmm, maybe we need to draw another line on the map and have Far North Queenslandia as a new state, or maybe even a country!

    Come to think of it, when I lived on T.I. even you palefaces from Cairns and the Tableland were southerners, but Morayfield is pushing the bounds a bit too far!

    If Morayfield was any further south it'd have Fairy Penguins I reckon.

    You will find plenty at the Brisbane wood show. June I think. Try
    Malcolm at the Boutique Timbers stand, he will have red cedar, Mackay cedar, Rosewood, etc.

    been thinking that for ages...might finally get some better roads, hospitals, schools etc if we were looking after the place instead of southerners oh yeah, cairns will be the capital too...
